Thrilled and surprised I was to see that the french macaroon company Laduree opened a shop on Madison Avenue, its just what we needed! Walking by on opening day last month in September there was a line out the door but it seems out of all the recent shops that have opened on the Avenue Laduree is the only one making any money?! Recently I walked by at 1PM, jammed packed! Walking home around 4PM jammed packed as well, it goes to show that if your have a quality product people will pay for it. In short Madison Avenue needs more shops like Laduree, cause who doesn't like a lil' snack when you stroll.
