A new antioxidant product line has hit the marketplace called Phyto-c skin care, developed by Dr. Mostafa M. Omar who is the professor of Pharmacognosy at the University of Rhode Island. The key ingredient in the Phyto-C line is L-Ascorbic Acid or better know as Liquid Vitamin-C. According to Dr. Omar Liquid Vitamin-C is one of the most effective antioxidants and is the only material that can penetrate the skin. It protects our skin against UV rays and pollution, as well helps repair skin cells and tissue damaged by free radicals.
The two products we tried were Icy Blue and Moisturize Cream. Icy Blue has a cool sensation when applied to the face and goes directly into your skin and left no residue on our face, the same can be said for the Moisturize cream.
