In celebration of Mikimoto's fifty years in retail sales the company has released a limited edition collection of cultured pearl jewlery. The thre piece collection was selected to recognize Mikimoto's half-century of retail in America.
The 32" Golden Sea cultured pearl chain necklace pays tribute to the Golden anniversary while the 50" multi-colored Black South Sea cultured necklace honors the fifty years. The Akoya cultured pearls which remain a staple at Mikimoto have been utilized to make a special set consisting of a double strand Akoua necklace with diamond rondelles and matching Akoya cultured pearl and diamond stud earrings. As for the future the company has introduced two limited edition pieces which are "Pearls in Motion". Both necklaces are 19" and 50" and are a mix of colored freshwater and Black South Sea pearls.
