Neiman Marcus Fall 2008 Preview

The Neiman Marcus Fall preview this season was not that much different then past seasons but there are a few exceptions on what to expect come fall. As usual all the major houses are in play; Gucci, Prada, Chanel ect, ect..

As for the major trends look out for items with large size crystals and small one’s as well. The majority of the jewelry was bejeweled not in the respect of the “bling bling” that was seen three or four seasons ago but more of a sophisticated glamour.

Skins of leopard and Python are in the mix and will be found incorporated in shoes and bags for fall. On the shoe front the big shoe for the season is the “shoe Boote” with an open toe. Many designers have this style for fall, we did not see very many high heel pump style shoes but there were a scant few, one done in ombree on a much softer scale.

As for bags the two dominating theme’s are patent leather metallic and berry colors. Overall designers have made some small shifts for fall but with the state of the economy in the United States and the luxury market feeling the pinch sales store numbers will tell the tale come this fall season.
